About Me

My photo
Jenna Herbert
My name is Jenna. I'm eighteen years old. I am currently an English major at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York.

I would consider myself an avid fan of the literary world. I have been writing for what feels like an eternity and I cannot imagine ever stopping. As of now, I plan on going to graduate school to study Library Science. There is almost nothing I love more than seeing the right book fall into the right person's hands.

I have a weakness for proper grammar, letter writing, typewriters, and the smell of books. My biggest inspirations, as far as writing, would have to be Sylvia Plath and Kate Chopin. Recently, I have also developed a strong interest in the literature of Elizabethan England.

This blog will be a culmination of some of best writing throughout college, as well as a place for personal poetry and prose. Enjoy! And please, do not hesitate to contact me at herbertj188@strose.edu!
